From fashion to interiors and beyond, expect Mocha Mousse to dominate across industries.

Ready to fill your wardrobe with the 2025 color of the year? Here are different Mocha mousse outfits (+ glasses) to get you fashion-ready for next year.

What is PANTONE?

PANTONE refers to Pantone LLC’s Pantone Matching System (PMS). It is a standardized color reproduction system that is widely used across industries like printing, graphic design, fashion, manufacturing, and product design.

It assigns a unique name or code (like Pantone 17-3938 for Very Peri) to specific colors. Each Pantone color swatch is defined by a precise formula to keep consistency regardless of:

  • Material (paper, fabric, plastic, digital media)
  • Location (global manufacturing or design teams)
  • Devices (printers, screens, etc.)

Pantone LLC, the company behind the system, has developed this color language to ensure consistent and accurate color communication across different mediums and materials.

3 Ways to Style a Mocha Mousse Outfit

Mocha Mousse is an exciting color to style because it goes with literally everything. It’s a cool, earthy tone that can be worn in the office, a rave, and everything in between. Cherry on top, it

Let’s start with the basics. If there’s any color that will always look good with Mocha Mousse, then it’s gonna have to be any one of its sister colors—brown.

The secret is to balance light and dark tones and different fabrics. This keeps your outfit interesting despite being monochrome.

An example of this is the outfit from the Max Mara Fall 2023 Ready-to-Wear Collection. The wide-leg pants and oversized coat create volume, while the subtle contrast between the shades of brown adds dimension.

For a bit more daring look, then we take notes from Jessica Wang. The glossy leather jacket contrasts beautifully with the flowing, ruffled dress. Paired with knee-high boots in a similar caramel brown, this look plays with textures to keep the monochrome palette fresh and dynamic.

To add a bit more spice to your outfit, you can finish off with a pair of Darcey sunglasses in Travertine by Classic Specs. It’s a pair of light Mocha Mousse sunglasses that will perfectly tie together the outfit.

For those who’re feeling a bit casual and cozy, then you can also add a bit of denim into your Mocha Mousse outfit. It tones down your outfit so it’s not too formal or stiff.

For a first date type of day, you could wear a cozy, oversized brown cardigan with a classic denim mini skirt like Selin Ergul. The soft, fuzzy texture of the cardigan adds warmth and luxury to the look, perfectly contrasting the structured texture of the denim.

If you want something a little more daring, then you can also experiment with patterns. Style icon Elisa Vallois proves that it’s possible to look both fun but still casual with her leopard-print jacket. She layers it over a black top and relaxed-fit jeans and finishes off with Mocha Mousse uggs.

As for sunglasses, then both Selin and Elisa stuck to the classic black frames. Here are some options from Classic Specs that will help you achieve the Mocha Mousse outfit that you want:

Beaumont

Beaumont is a versatile pair that is sure to complement any outfit you can think of. It’s round and sleek like Selin’s very own pair. Plus, it comes with a Havan Tortoise color if you want that orange-ish lens tint.

Edie

Another good pick from Classic Specs’ is Edie in Carbon Black. Just like Elisa’s sunglasses, Eddie is black and cat-eye shaped so it complements all face types.

When we say that Mocha Mousse can go with everything—we mean it. Neutrals aren’t the only colors you can layer over Mocha Mousse, you can do other fun colors as well!

So when planning for your look, experiment with color contrasts and fabrics. Cool tones like violets and blues are great for balance and cohesiveness. However, you can always sprinkle a bit of yellow or warm tones for a pop of color. That’s how Emma Chamberlaine does it!

On another note, you can also stick to cool tones and only add personality to your outfit by layering different textures, patterns, and accessories. TikTok’s maximalist icon, Benulus, has long mastered this formula as seen in this look of hers.

And of course, if you’re looking for a pair of patterned Mocha Mousse sunglasses then Classic Specs has the perfect one for you:

Perry

Perry in Bay Tortoise is one of our favorite patterned sunglasses. It’s a vibrant mix of browns, caramels, and yellow making it a great way to elevate a simple look. It’s close to what Benulus wears in her fit. Except, it’s a bit more vibrant and fun!
