We love more of XO Kitty since last season’s cliffhanger left us hanging (AKA Minho and Kitty).

Kitty will be returning to KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul) for her senior year, and more drama is expected to rise in the third season of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spin-off. While Kitty (Anna Carthcart) is busy matchmaking, it is no secret that the styling each season surpasses is getting better and better, especially in the eyewear department.

Anna Cathcart

Anna Cathcart is growing up in front of our laptops and TVs, and her specs game is going strong. She is one of the cast members who is prominently known for her eyewear since she’s been seen donning both eyeglasses and sunglasses in her everyday fits and her promotional activities.

Anna gave us all-cream eleganza accented with rings, a thin-beaded necklace, and oh, that eyewear! She got those thin-framed geometric eyeglasses down, which perfectly fit her beautiful face.

We are also loving her red leather jacket look in the series. With her cat-eye sunglasses as her finishing touch, it looks like she’s paying homage to Lindsay Lohan’s Get a Clue look.

Sang Heon Lee

His skin, his accent, his long locks, and his style, who doesn’t love Sang Heon Lee!

He may be a diva in Minho at XO Kitty, but he’s an ultimate sweetheart in real life. And did we tell you his style never disappoints? Sang Heon is the type to experiment with style. He can go wear jumpers, fuzziest sweaters, or have fun with prints. His casual fits are also a hit!

As for his eyewear, he loves eyeglasses and sunglasses with geometric shapes. With a face like that, he can go all the way and experiment.

Peter Thurnwald

Going into season 2, Kitty’s professor, Alex Finnerty, will be (spoiler alert!) his father’s right hand in running KISS. Alex is a sweet professor who is often seen in formal clothes. But in real life, actor Peter Thurnwald is pretty experimental with his fashion.

Peter likes to keep it oversized, whether it’s cat-eye or the good-old classic aviators. But one thing is for sure: each eyewear gives off different vibes as he wears it.

Alternative Glasses We Recommend

Thin Frames

If you love thin frame glasses, those Anna and Sang-Hoon wore, you can get those from our thin frame glasses collection such as the following:

The aviator sunglasses for men are a great alternative to Peter’s more flashy glasses, especially for everyday wear. That’s why Lowerre is a more versatile version of his glasses, which works when you’re heading to an event or just running errands.

For these glasses, all you need to do is avoid looking like you are heading to a cosplay event. Classic aviators look best with a navy blazer, a crisp button-down, or a leather bomber jacket. A classic styling that always works.

And oh, another idea, match them with a buckle belt for a more polished look.

Anna’s Slim Frame Alternative

Although these glasses aren’t identical to Anna’s, this metal frame eyeglasses are a sophisticated alternative for a more classic look. The gentle curves of the round frame complement your features instead of clashing with them. This design achieves an understated elegance, appearing natural rather than contrived.

Because silver is a cool-toned metal, it pairs exceptionally well with Anna’s neutral cream and white outfit, maintaining a crisp, luminous appearance.

Oversized Glasses

Anna’s Black Frame Alternative

Ashford is a strong match for what Anna is wearing. Both feature a modified round shape with a flattened top bar and a tapered bottom. This creates a balanced look that isn’t perfectly circular but still feels soft.

As for how to wear it, go for soft, voluminous waves to help soften the lines of the black frames. Additionally, tucking one side of your hair behind your ear (as shown in the photo) helps keep the frames from feeling too heavy on your face and accentuates your jawline.

Although this glasses isn’t an oversized one, Todd has a wider lens width but a shallower height which gives you the “oversized” width that wraps around the face like his pair does. The glasses stretches the face visually at the eye line, which creates a sharp, cat-like, or “feline” silhouette that is famous in K-culture.

As for a style tip, Sunghoon often pairs dark, heavy frames with dark hair and dark clothing (like the navy sweater in your photo). This creates a “monochrome” look where the glasses don’t jump out as a separate accessory, but rather blend into a moody, high-fashion silhouette.
