Do you sell other brands of glasses besides Classic Specs?
Occasionally we will feature other brands that we like.
What is your return policy?
You’re happy or your money back, no questions asked. You have 30 days to return all frames, and we’ll pay for shipping back to us. If you’d like to return one of our products you may email us at help@classicspecs.com.
Do you sell sunwear?
Yes we do! We sell both prescription and non prescription sunwear. We use only NuPolar lenses, the most advanced polarized lenses on the market in our sunwear. Click on the "sunwear" tab within any particular frame you like for more information.
If I choose to fax/email my prescription to you, how do I do it?
Our toll free fax number is 718.228.8957 and you can send your prescription via email to rx@classicspecs.com. Please do not forget to include your name and/or order number when you send your prescription to us. This will help us match your documents to your order much faster.
Do you have a physical location anywhere?

Absolutely. We’re proud to be part of the best market in the New York City, The Brooklyn Flea. Check here for updates.

How long will my glasses take to arrive and how will they be shipped?
Prescription and sunwear orders take 5 - 7 business days to fill, frames ordered without lenses usually ship out within one business day. After that, it depends where in the USA you live. Time in transit could take between one and four business days. Shipping is free. Glasses will be shipped either by UPS or Fedex. Since we know how busy fellow New Yorkers are and since most don’t have the luxury of a doorman, we offer PM delivery one night a week to those who find nothing more annoying than finding a UPS notice on the door. If you would like local delivery, please get in touch with us.
What do I need before ordering from you?
You can order from us in a couple of different ways. If you have your prescription we’ll show you how to fill out our online form. You can also fax your prescription to us. Lastly, the easiest way is to give us your doctor’s name and phone number and we’ll do all the work for you! Please note, orders that require us to call your doctor may take an extra three business days to process.
What if I want just the frame without lenses?
Yep you can do that too. A $20 discount is automatically applied!
What if my frames need adjustment after I receive them?
Bring them to any optical shop near you, tell us how much the adjustment cost and we’ll issue you a credit to your credit card (we grew up on the honor system).
What are your lenses made of and do you sell lens coatings?
All our lenses are made from polycarbonate (one of the thinnest and lightest materials used for lenses and is shatter resistant). All lenses INCLUDE anti-reflective, anti-scratch, and UV coatings.
Do you sell polarized, bifocal, or progressive lenses?
We sell prescription polarized sunwear and non prescription polarized sunwear. However we do not sell bifocal or progressive lenses.
Can you put lenses into frames I bought elsewhere?
It is our eternal quest to make our customers as happy as possible. To that end, we can put lenses into existing frames only if you’ve purchased frames from us in the past. For every frame you buy from us, we can put a pair of lenses into one existing frame of yours. We understand that you may have had glasses before you found us and we’d love to help you. Email us at help@classicspecs.com for more information and pricing.
What forms of payment do you accept and is my information secure?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Google Checkout, and Paypal. We subscribe to some of the highest security standards in the industry. Our hosting solution is certified PCI compliant by ScanAlert.
