Try Them on at Home for Free
We understand buying eyewear online isn’t easy and we’re ready to help. You can try up to six frames for free in the comfort of your home (we cover all shipping charges).
Here’s how it works:
Select up to six frames on our site by clicking the "Add to Try On" button where appropriate. We’ll ship them to you for free and include a prepaid return label for shipping back to us (for free). We’ll authorize your credit card for every frame you decide to try on - we want to make sure we get a valid credit card on file for you.
Try the frames at home and get opinions from friends and family. When you decide on a pair you like you may place your order directly online or fill out the form you’ll receive with your package.
You’ll have 7 days to return the trial frames; we’ll never charge you for anything unless we do not get them back.
FOLLOW THESE THREE STEPS TO ENSURE A GREAT FIT FOR YOUR GLASSES
SHAPE:
There are five basic face shapes; you should select a frame shape that offsets the shape of your face. For example, instead of a round frame on a round face, you'll look better with an angular or rectangular shaped frame.
SIZE:
1. Your eyes should be well centered in the frame.
2. If your nose is wide, you need a wide bridge and if your nose is narrow, you need a narrow bridge to ensure a proper fit.
COLOR:
Pick a color that accents either your skin tone, eye color, and/or hair color.
Our Frames
Our frames are made in some of the best factories in the world. All our frames are handmade using premium Italian acetate and reinforced hinges. Each and every frame is polished for over two weeks and inspected individually.
Our Lenses
We use an optical lab in New York that services many premium optical boutiques and ophthalmologists. All our lenses are made from polycarbonate (a material thinner and lighter than plastic that is also shatter resistant). All lenses are coated twice with an anti-reflective coating and include an anti-scratch finish.
High Index Lenses
For prescriptions less than a -4.0 Sphere or greater than a +4.00 Sphere we suggest the use of high index lenses. Our high index lenses have a 1.67 index of refraction and are even thinner and lighter than our standard polycarbonate lenses. High index lenses also include a double anti-reflective coating and an anti-scratch finish.
We charge an extra $20 (per pair) for high index lenses and will always double check with you first before proceeding with your order.
New Lenses in Your Old Glasses
We understand that you may have had glasses before you came to us and we'd love to help you get new lenses in your old frames. For every frame purchased from us we're more than happy to work on a pair of your old frames. Just get in touch with us for more details.
Quality Guarantee
We stand behind our frames + lenses. We guarantee all our products free from defects for 1 year.
We've Got Your Back
Ever drop or sit on a pair of frames? Yep, we have too. If you ever break your frames/lenses just send them back to us and we'll get you a fresh pair for just $25. It's not fair for eyewear companies and doctors to make huge profits off of accidents.
Personalized Service
We operate differently than most online companies. When you place an order with us for the first time a member of our staff will be assigned to help you through the process. They'll work with you and your doctor to make sure you get the most amazing experience possible. If you ever have questions you'll always have someone that is dedicated to answering them with a direct extension and email address. Need an itemized invoice, a replacement, or anything else? You'll always get a response within 24 hours or less.
Getting Your Prescription
Sit back and we'll do all the work. We're more than happy to take your eye doctor's details and get your prescription from them directly.
Adjustments are On Us
We understand you may need to get an adjustment to your frames once you receive them. We recommend stopping at any optical shop - most shops perform adjustments as a standalone service. If you're charged anything at all, just let us know, we'll be happy to cover the cost 100%.
Easy Returns
The return process is simple: you can return your glasses within 30 days for any reason. No questions asked. We guarantee a 100% refund and we'll cover all shipping costs (to you and back to us).
We'll Do Anything for Our Customers
We're obsessed with making our customers happy. Drop us a line for any reason or no reason at all. We're always available to help.
Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between your pupils in millimeters. When we fabricate our polycarbonate lenses according to your unique prescription we need your PD in order to align the optical center of the lenses with your eyes. Optometrists/opticians often will not write your PD on your prescription even though they have it - if you've been fitted for frames this is a measurement they keep on file. If you plan on getting a fresh eye exam just make sure to ask your examining optician to measure your PD, it's that simple.
We need your date of birth in order to verify your identity with your eye care provider. Please be assured that we keep all information confidential in accordance with all applicable privacy laws.
Our Rx Sunwear lenses utilize the latest patented polarizing technology and each lens is individually surfaced at our lab by skilled technicians and as such costs us much more to source. We believe they provide tremendous value and you'll be extremely happy!
